Hui Sun

biography

I received my B.S degree in Mechanics and Engineering Department in Fudan University at Shanghai, China. Afterward I joined the Biofluid Mechanics Laboratory in the same department and worked with Prof. Zhaorong Liu on investigating the biomechanical basis of vascular remodeling and their application on vein grafts. In 2004 I received my M.S degree and in the same year I started my PhD program in Bioengineering Department in Upenn. I had been working with Dr. Britton Chance on near-infrared optical imaging. From 2005 I joined PICSL and started to work on medical image analysis. Now my research focuses on shape analysis, shape-based normalization and shape-based automatic segmentation for anotomical structures.
